Midwest Independent Film Festival: "The 2011 season of First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival launches with the much-anticipated Chicago Premiere of the SXSW selection Cherry, starring Kyle Gallner, Laura Allen, Esai Morales and Chicago actor Kirk Anderson, on Tuesday, February 1st at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark beginning at 6 p.m. Producer Sam Kitt (also former president of Spike Lee's production company 40 Acres and a Mule) and writer/director Jeffrey Fine will be in attendance for a post-screening discussion with the audience."
The Midwest Film Fest is a terrific event for independent filmmakers and industry pros to both network and screen first run festival movies. Whether the MIFF provides first hand resources for organizations like SAG Indie, features emerging filmmakers or celebrates niche content, the fest always has something to offer.
Be sure to make the premiere of Cherry on February 1st by securing your tickets here!
